Originally constructed in 1964, Olson Steel has been contracted to provide and install all structural steel framing, Taylor Devices, Inc. seismic dampers, stairs, metal decking, and demolition work for the structural steel seismic retrofit and renovation of the Department of General Services (RBR). The project involves a comprehensive rehabilitation of the 17-story, 657,000-square-foot building that leaves the building’s steel shell structure in place while adding seismic reinforcement and new construction in the building to match the current footprint, mass, and height. Olson Steel continues to be a trusted company in the rehabilitation of complex projects.
