201 Mission Street Lobby
The two-story phase lobby renovation involved removing the unused stairs and interiors atrium, relocating the guard/reception desk to the lower level, elevator cabs, new water feature, exterior landscape improvements and a dramatic lighted ceiling treatment. Finishes included terrazzo, wood veneer and granite. Large granite pieces were installed at the exterior, along with stainless steel signage. This renovation also modified the extent of the lobby and re-designed the entrance. In addition, the sidewalk was replaced with two-tone black concrete per city requirements. The work took place in eight phases over 18 months. The design for the scaffolding and barricades was extensive in order to keep the disruption to the tenants of 201 Mission to a minimum. Turner was also involved during preconstruction and contributed substantially during the design process.
