San Mateo Performing Arts
Renovation of an existing Performing Arts Center on the San Mateo High School campus. Work included structural improvements, an added basement level, a completely new interior theater as well as mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire sprinkler upgrades. Theater seating, lighting, and rigging were installed in this theater that serves not only the school but the larger community. This project was performed under the oversight of the Department of the State Architect (DSA). Additionally, subcontractor designs for design-build fire sprinklers, exterior storefront & curtain-wall, stairs, production rigging & stage drapery were coordinated with the architect and submitted to DSA for approval.
