Stanford HRC Misc Steel & Stairs
Stanford’s Replacement Central Energy Facility (RCEF) will substantially reduce Stanford’s energy usage for heating and cooling, resulting in lower criteria air pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions than the existing Central Energy Facility, as well as a substantial reduction in the University’s potable water use. The RCEF will replace the building heating and cooling functions currently provided by Stanford’s aging Existing CEF. The RCEF will also include a new electrical substation; the existing CEF and the existing Palou substation will be decommissioned. OIson Steel was selected to provide all structural steel requirements, miscellaneous metal requirements and complex Photovoltaic solar enabled steel canopies.
