Executive Team

Dylan Olson, President is actively involved in all company operations. He oversees daily operations. Dylan grew up in and around steel construction and apprenticed with the Field Ironworkers as a summer job while in college. After graduating from the University of Arizona, he worked as the General Manager for a start-up company that manufactured turnkey micro breweries throughout the United States. In 1995, Dylan joined Meddco Metals as an Estimator and Project Manager. Over the next several years he assumed additional responsibilities in production, operations and information technology. He also oversaw the building of the San Leandro office and fabrication plant in 2002. He became Vice President of Operations for the company in 2003 and was brought in as a partner in 2005. Dylan holds a B.S. degree in Economic Geography from the University of Arizona at Tucson and is currently participating in the following professional organizations.

• Western Steel Council Board of Directors
• Northern California Shop Ironworkers Apprenticeship Trust Board member and Trustee
• California Field Ironworkers Workers Trustee

Kevin Cullen, Chief Financial Officer. Kevin oversees all financial aspects of the organization, Human Resources, Real Estate, and Information Technology. He has a diverse background in construction and manufacturing and has extensive experience with system implementations and financial oversight. Prior to joining Olson & Co. Steel, he was Chief Financial Officer and part owner for MDC Vacuum Products and is currently a Founding Board of Director for California Bank of Commerce, and serves as the Chairman of the Director’s Loan Committee. From 1990 to 1998, Kevin was employed by Bank of America, NT&SA. Kevin has a B.A degree from the University of Pacific.
